Christmas Carol Concert

On the *18th December* Whickham School will be hosting the annual carol
service. Celebrating the festive season with musical and drama performances
by Whickham’s very own students, teachers and even special guests! You are
also given the opportunity to get involved in stalls that will offer food,
drinks and festive buys. All are welcome and keep your eyes peeled as
tickets will be available soon!

Baltic Stars

A number of pupils were lucky enough to be selected to be part of this years Baltic Stars program funded by Children in Need.

The Baltic Stars program celebrates creativity, individuality, choice and achievement through contemporary art.

Pupils took part in six half day, artist led workshops, outside of school hours,

This unique animated exhibition is in Baltic’s Level 2 Quay Space and is currently open to the public

Eggs Created for The Eggshibition at Preston Park Museum

Art students from Years 7 and 8 have designed eggsquisite egg shape sculptures that will be displayed at Preston Park Museum from 15 March – 10 April.

Students created the sculptures as a homework task and as you can see from the pictures they have really eggselled at the challenge.

The eggs will be part of The Eggshibition at Preston Park Museum from Tuesday 15 March to Sunday 10 April. Please check with Preston Park Museum for further information on opening timeswww.prestonparkmuseum.co.uk.
