TEACHER OF BUSINESS STUDIES AND ECONOMICS (2 posts available one permanent and one temporary for two terms. Economics required for one post only)

Required for September 2012: an outstanding teacher, or NQT who shows the potential to be outstanding, to join our highly successful Business department. Whickham School is a large, successful and oversubscribed school in Gateshead with over 1600 students including 330 in the sixth form. Standards are high and in November 2010 Ofsted judged the school “good with outstanding features”. Over 95% of students achieve 5 + A*-C at GCSE and 71% including English and Maths. The sixth form is one of the most successful in the region with a 100% pass rate and 40% of grades being A* or A.
