Dr Seddon outlined a unique opportunity for a student from our current year 9 or year 10 to take part in the prestigious NASA International Space School in October 2009. This will involve a week visit to Florida where students will experience the Kennedy space Centre, the Saturn V launch Simulator and an Astronaut Training Experience. This will be followed by a week at Houston where students will visit the Houston Space Centre and Johnston Space Centre.
The place at ISS is funded by ictGateshead/Gateshead City Learning Centre.
