Whickham School and Sports College

Our Gateshead Young Ambassadors for Sport, Jamie Leech and Michael Brachii, attended the Sports College Conference in Telford in February. They presented two one-hour workshops on the work of Young Leaders at Whickham to an audience of Headteachers, Curriculum Leaders and Directors of sport. They described how the Sports Leadership Pathway is being used in the Gateshead Whickham Partnership. Their presentation was so successful that both Jamie and Michael have been invited back next year to independently deliver their presentation.
