Congratulations to 17 students in year 10 who were presented with their food hygiene certificates in assembly before half term. This is an industry standard qualification that must be held by anyone working in a professional kitchen, covering everything from food storage to the prevention of food poisoning.
The students completed the course as an important prelude to their GCSE Catering course, ensuring safe practices were adopted from the start. They achieved a 100% pass rate.
