Welcome to the new Whickham School website. We have been working closely with colleagues at Gateshead City Learning Centre to provide a lively and engaging site that celebrates the life of the school and provides important information for parents and students. There will be a focus on new stories on everything from residential visits to key achievements, alongside a bank of important information from key dates to school policies.
Innovations such as a podcast feature will allow you to hear music from the school band whilst video feed will display multi-media content. You can be alerted to new content by registering with our on-line news feed.
You can post your comments on the site to our on-line comments box, although please use existing communication links for particular queries relating to your son or daughter.
We hope you find the site a source of lively, interesting and relevant information and we look forward to your feedback.

i think that the colours are great because they are the same as the ties and the infomation on the rugby and the videos are mint

I think that the new whickham school website is excellent!!
The colours on the homepage are nice and bright and I think this is good when you can post a comment. It is great how they have galleries for photos so we can view them at home or at school.

The new school website is much better than the previous one.Its layout is much better presented and eye-catching. The news archive has been made a lot tidier and I like the new user area section.
It provides much more information about the school and will certainly convince more people to come here.

hi this site is much more better then the other one. Its more laid back and more professional. I used to go to this school and it had a fantastic reputation back then as now and always will THE BEST SCHOOL IN NORTH EAST ENGLAND!

im lauren i go to whickham school and it is brill because there are loads of diffrent things like rugy and stuff
if you dont go to whickaham move because you will like it at whickham better then the school you go to.
and i like this website because it has loads of diffrent stuff like coullerfull and pictures to veiw i never been on a whickham website before but this one is amazing.!!!!!!!!!!
